Aircraft Design & Certification Ltd. is a European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) approved design organisation, and a key strategic partner of SkyfloX. The Germany-based company brings to the DOCS team critical aircraft design & certification expertise, while evaluating a multitude of technical ORCA aspects. Part of this evaluation involved an extensive flight test campaign, evaluating Earth Observation and Telecommunication aspects.

Together with VITO (imagery processing), TNO (connectivity aspects), and major terrestrial LTE telecom providers T-Mobile and Tele-2, a prototype payload with various sensors and telecommunication equipment was flown over the North of the Netherlands, mounted on AD&C’s test aircraft.
